Our main station needs a remodel so about 2 years ago we started looking at what we could do to improve the way we are using the space. We share alot of the space with admin, as this is both the headquarters and station. I started by getting input from all the people that worked out of the station and made many different plans. When we had a plan that everyone liked, or could live with, I presented it to the Chief and asked permission to get quotes on cost, the Chief gave me the OK. I got all the quotes, presented the information to the Chief and he asked me to present it to the Board of Directors. Since we had done our homework, had a good plan and budget, the Board put the project into the budget for this year. We will probably do the project in June/July this year.
