Oh yeah - Houston sucks for sure. I mean no one forces me to save hot chicks - I volunteer. And further more what's with this JohhnyJackass prancing around with his fancy words. I think it was C-shift when I visited. Ithink the guy that showed me around was Capt. Nye. Actually he was pretty cool. Some of the guys seemed like they couldn't care less that a brother FF from outa town was visiting. Most were cool though. I recetly spoke with Chief Boriskie too. I was trying to get info on the high rise fire where the Capt. had to be rescued. I plan on using the info for a MAYDAY class I am putting together.

I'm a Bshifter @ 46's. I've been assigned twice to 18's, once on a manpower balance as a pipeman and then when they reopened the station when I was assigned to ambulance 525 (which in that incarnation was really ambulance 18.)

I got away as quickly as possible. I hope none of those guys know where you live. They are psychotic.

Johnny, what station are you out of? I had the priviledge of visiting station 18 last October. Pretty nice group of guys. Also got to check out firefest. That absolutely amazed me. Later.

I got nothing bad to say about Houston. I've never been there but the reputation you have across the country is as aggressive interior firemen who sometimes push too hard. You guys do seem to lose firemen a lot. From what I hear you guys are hard chargers down there. Keep up the good work hill billies! ; )

Thank you, Newbe. I truly was hoping Snakebutt would come on and post something to let out some of his anger and feel a little better about himself and his department. He clearly has some inadequacy issues and attacking a goliath would help him feel more powerful because the internet is the great equalizer.
